I wasn’t a fan of banana based ice creams, and then I made this…Enjoy.
Cookie Dough Ice Cream
the cookie dough
2 tablespoons peanut butter 1 tablespoon honey* 1/2 cup almond meal
the chocolate chips
40 grams dark chocolate, finely chopped
the ice cream
3 frozen bananas, chopped 2 tablespoons peanut butter 2 tablespoons cacao or cocoa 1 tablespoon honey* dash of milk** Place the ingredients for the cookie dough into your processor and quickly blend to combine, spoon the mixture into a bowl and set aside. Place the ingredients for the ice cream into your processor and blend until the mixture resembles an ice cream consistency. Stir through the cookie dough and chocolate chips. Tuck in or place the ice cream into the freezer for a few hours. Enjoy!
*you can use rice malt syrup if you prefer.
**Almond milk and coconut milk work well, use whatever you have on hand.
